I would not recommend any later versions of Registry Mechanic since it has become very bloated but the Auslogics offering is excellent. I have not found any problems with it so far in what it chooses to delete on the systems I have it installed on. BleachBit is available in most of Linux distributions' repository so you can simply install it from Software manager. This combination of being an excellent privacy cleaner as well as its ability to create free space is what makes it the number one pick. Still, it's probably just a matter of what areas to check in the menu.
